About Gypsum
Gyprock Plasterboard products are manufactured from Gypsum, paper and a small amount of additives.
The paper liner board is made from 100% recycled newspapers and the additives are non harmful materials such as gypsum, starch and detergent. The energy used to manufacture is the lowest of any building product

In addition to improving plant growth and increasing crop yields, recycled gypsum can also be used to condition the soil to improve conditions for optimal growth. For example, sub-soil acidity can prevent plant roots from utilizing available nutrients and water in the soil, adversely affecting plant growth.
Legacy Gypsum recycles more than 80% of its manufacturing waste back into the production process
Legacy Gypsum recommends recycling plasterboard waste, helping the Environment by reducing landfil, tipping fee's and site clean up costs, this improves site safety through better resource management.
